    What Can We Say But Yes

    A new composition of mine, titled ‘What Can We Say But Yes’ will be premiered this week in Laupheim/Ulm, Germany. It’s a 35 minute pseudo-piano-concerto-extravaganza for prepared piano, 17 strings and 3 percussionists. The preparation of the piano is based on John Cage’s ‘Sonatas and Interludes’. And yes, the commission has to do with the fact that this year we are celebrating the 100th birthday of Cage.
    The performers are: Antonis Anissegos (piano), Chatschatur Kanajan (conductor), European Music Project and Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss. Check it öut…
